Peer Networks is a peer-to-peer networking programme for SMEs that is delivered locally by the network of Growth Hubs across England. It aims to bring together diverse cohort groups of individuals in a range of business sectors to collaboratively work through common business issues . Through interactive action learning, you are able to discuss your own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them.

What is a Peer Network?

Peer Networks enables you to make connections that go far beyond networking. By taking part in Peer Networks, you have the opportunity to:

  • Overcome business challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities

  • Build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future

  • Improve your long-term personal and business performance

How does a Peer Network benefit me?

Businesses that seek external advice or undertake formal training are more likely to improve their overall  performance. Many people prefer to take advice from trusted sources, such as their peers, when presented with external challenges and opportunities.

Using Action Learning, programme gives you the chance to share business challenges in a supportive and inspiring environment and benefit from insight and experience from other business owners who are or have been in a similar position. You can work collectively and collaboratively to find solutions to different issues or scenarios.

How does a peer Network benefit my business?

Peer Networks provides a free programme of business support to allow you as a business leader to explore challenges and find solutions to growing your business. The service brings together small groups of to work together on their specific business issues, supports personal development, dedicates time to your business and grows your professional network.

What is a High Growth Peer Network?

A high growth Peer Network focuses on SMEs with the potential for rapid growth. Often tech companies but not always, the Scale Up Institute defines them as businesses which grow at 20% per annum in either turnover or jobs growth for 3 years and typically which start from a base Turnover of £1m.
